I like to paint. My name is Raul Gonzalez I am an artist from Texas. I've been drawing as far back as I can remember. I've been teaching myself to draw, but still learning from others. I absorb eveything around me, from reality to the surreal.

 

In 2008/2009, I was the recipiant of a first place award in painting, and the peice was displayed for a year in a hospital. More recently, I have had art shows at various places in El Paso including The Loft Light, The Rockhouse and El Camino Real.
